Northern Lights

The website below offers information on Aurora Borealis. It talks about the history of the northern lights and offers advice on best times to see the northern lights.

Grand Canyon

This website is the National Parks Services. It can help you plan your visit to the grand canyon or other national parks. It offers a archive of photos and videos. It talks about the history and culture around the grand canyon. And offer teachers lesson plans and student extra activities.

Grand Canyon Association is a nonprofit organization that supports education, research, and visitor services at Grand Canyon National Park.

Great Barrier Reef

This site offers a mini virtual field trip of it's own. It is a picture slide show of the reef and audio directed by a participant in the dive. He talks about the different areas of the reef, the landscape, the layers, the animals, and the islands that make up this natural wonder.

This website is a service of the Australian Government. It is aimed at students. It offers a great tool called GBR Explorer that allows you to explore the plants, animals, landscapes. As well as a great Webquest on the reef.

Mount Everest

This website offers an interesting perspective from a group pf climbers point of view. They offer video, pictures, maps of routes they took up the mountain.
